Baptist church's architect: P. Arnet, Amundsen, Tromsø. The church was inaugurated in 1936. In 2010, the house was sold to the Salvation Army. The congregation was then disbanded in Narvik.
Since 1924 there has been a Baptist congregation in Narvik. In 1936 they had their own church built in Frydenlundgata. At most, the congregation had over 100 members. Former mayor Sverre Øvergaard was among these.
Image is so-called Digital Graphic Art, where the original printing plate is a digital file. The image is therefore, instead of a graphic printing plate, printed directly from the file, which is a file with a very high resolution, and consequently the image can be printed in various sizes with very high quality. The technique is called Giclee printing.
