The picture is painted after a reference picture from Lofoten, but only the outline and composition can be recognized from the picture. The colors and details in the image are self-produced, and the image is not very detailed in the foreground and the colors are placed out to symbolize elements in the terrain. This makes the image a more abstract image of the landscape.

Image is so-called Digital Graphic Art, where the original printing plate is a digital file. The image is therefore, instead of a graphic printing plate, printed directly from the file, which is a file with a very high resolution, and consequently the image can be printed in various sizes with very high quality. The technique is called Giclee printing.
