When LKAB bought its properties in Narvik in 1897, it included two small farms which were initially rented out to tenants, but in 1913 LKAB decided to run the farm itself in order to provide milk for clerks and workers. A new farmhouse and barn were built, and a farm manager was hired. Largest herd at the beginning of the last war with 35 dairy cows. The farm was the first in northern Norway and one of the first in Norway to acquire a silo.

The image is therefore, instead of a graphic printing plate, printed directly from the file, which is a file with a very high resolution, and consequently the image can be printed in various sizes with very high quality. The technique is called Giclee printing.
